In the mid-eighties and early nineties Clarence worked as a commercial artist and illustrator for, The
Baptist Sunday School Board, Scripture Press Publishing, Victor Books, Augsburg Fortress Publishing
and United Methodist Publishing Co. His Inspirational Art and Christian Art has been distributed
nationwide by Northwestern Products, The Messiah’s Messenger and Dickson’s Gifts.
Stewart has sports art published through Mac Publishing, CollegeFootballArt.com and AuburnArt.com.
He was commissioned to illustrate several paintings for Delta Waterfowl Magazine. His art has been
featured on the magazine covers of The Pentacostal Evangel, Alabama Living Magazine, and illustrations
in several other national magazines. His waterfowl collectors are The Alabama Chapter of Ducks Unlimited
and National Chapters of Ducks Unlimited.
Influenced by such artist as Norman Rockwell, wildlife artist Carl Brender and Robert Bateman, Stewart
has gained much notoriety from his paintings of game and migratory waterfowl.

Clarence is currently working with ArtLicensing International at Manchester Center, Vermont licensing his art
on various marketable products. He works from his home in Brewton, Alabama where he and his wife Bonnie
have lived for thirty-six years. They have three children and five grandsons.
